Cops bust man accused of putting woman in coma in vicious Brooklyn attack

Cops have collared a 27-year-old man in connection with a vicious random attack in Williamsburg last week.

Joshua Cruz was arrested Friday and charged with four counts of assault, as well as sexual abuse and forcible touching, after allegedly slamming a stranger to the ground and pummeling her, according to the NYPD.

The violent encounter unfolded around 6 a.m. Aug. 25 near Division Avenue and Rodney Street, where Cruz came up behind the unsuspecting 46-year-old woman and attacked her, police said.

Footage released by police, which helped lead to his arrest, shows the assailant punch her at least six times after throwing her to the sidewalk, police said.

According to cops, after Cruz assaulted the 46-year-old woman, he tried to pull her pants down, but eventually took off down Keap Street.
